Privacy
The short version: your files never reach us, because the tools run on your device. Here is the longer version.
Files and text you enter
Nothing. Every tool on this site processes your input inside your own browser. There is no upload endpoint, no processing server and no storage bucket. We do not receive the documents, images, tokens or text you work with, so we cannot read them, keep them, share them or lose them.
You can confirm this: open your browser's developer tools, go to the Network tab, and use any tool. After the page and its scripts finish loading, no further requests are made.
Things stored in your browser
The site remembers your light or dark theme preference in your browser's local storage. That value stays on your device and is never sent anywhere. Nothing else is stored.
Server logs
Like any website, our hosting provider records standard access logs when a page is requested: IP address, timestamp, the page requested and your browser's user-agent string. These are used to keep the site running and to spot abuse. They contain no information about what you did with a tool, because that never reaches the server.
Advertising
The site is funded by advertising. Advertising partners may set cookies or use similar technologies to measure and personalise the ads you see, and they may process your IP address for this purpose. This is standard for ad-funded websites and is governed by each partner's own privacy policy.
Advertising partners have no access to the content you work with in the tools. That is not a policy choice — the content never leaves your browser tab, so there is nothing for them to access.
If you are in the EU or UK you will be asked for consent before any non-essential cookie is set, and you can change or withdraw that choice at any time.
Analytics
We use privacy-respecting analytics to count page views and see which tools are used. It does not set advertising cookies, does not build a profile of you across sites, and records nothing about the contents of your work.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct and erase personal data held about you, and to object to processing. Because we hold almost nothing, most requests will be answered by explaining exactly that. For anything to do with your data, write to hello@crisputils.com.
